“Since my days as a corporate liaison to Ceres, I have been impressed by the dedication of the board and staff to harnessing the power of the investment community to ensure that economic success does not come at the expense of the environment or community health and well-being,” said Green.  “Whether it’s the Global Reporting Initiative or the Securities and Exchange Commission climate impact reporting, Ceres has led the push for more transparency, knowing that what gets measured gets addressed. I look forward to being part of the Ceres President’s Council to help ensure climate solutions benefit the most vulnerable communities.”
“When it comes to providing the leadership and resources necessary to advance environmental, social and governance issues and sustainable business investments the work undertaken by Ceres is unparalleled,” said McKinney-James. “I’m so honored to have the opportunity to join this effort as a new member of the Ceres President’s Council. I can’t think of a better place to lend my support to help increase corporate engagement and best practices toward addressing the critical challenges of identifying and implementing lasting climate solutions.”Â
