Vivian Melody

Vivian is a Communications Manager working with the Investor and Company Networks at Ceres. In her role, she develops and carries out media strategy and written content that advances Ceres’ business case for sustainability and advocates for action in the investment and corporate spheres. Prior to joining Ceres, Vivian enjoyed nonprofit careers in sustainability and education and utilized her background as a communications professional to highlight the work of values-based companies and initiatives. She holds a BA in Communications: Journalism and Public Relations from Southeastern University, an MA in Education from Mount Mary College, and a Professional Science Masters in Sustainability and Environmental Studies from Unity Environmental University. She is also a LEED Green Associate, NAI Certified Interpreter Guide, and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, knitting, reading and puzzles. Vivian resides near Cincinnati, Ohio with her two teenage children, two dogs, and too many house plants.
