Dan joined Ceres in 2016 and leads the Company Network’s work to advance sustainable business leadership with some of the most influential companies across all major sectors of the economy. His advocacy focuses on moving companies to take action to stabilize the climate, protect water and natural resources, and build a just and inclusive economy. Dan has co-authored pioneering reports on transition and physical climate risk in the banking sector. He is also the Chair of the UNEP-FI Principles for Responsible Banking's Civil Society Advisory Body.
Prior to Ceres, Dan worked at the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Wildlife Conservation Society, and the sustainability consultancy GreenOrder. He received a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Connecticut College and holds master's degrees in business administration and public administration from New York University. Dan is an active urban cyclist and can often be seen biking to work and around Boston.
