Reginald (Reggie) Zimmerman is the Senior Communications Manager for the Climate and Energy team. Prior to working at Ceres, Reggie was a vice president at a labor relations communication firm in Boston, and was the director of communications for a Massachusetts coalition of community, faith, and labor groups that fights for worker rights and economic justice.
Reggie also served as a press secretary for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs during the Patrick Administration, where he spearheaded numerous media outreach efforts on a variety of areas, including land conservation, pollution, power plants, animal health, and public safety.
Reggie holds a master's degree in Public Policy from Northeastern University's School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. While earning his degree, he interned with the Ceres Food and Forest, State Policy, and Company Network teams. Reggie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science.
