Rishi oversees policy advocacy for the Northeast states, focussing on developments in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as regional initiatives such as off-shore wind and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.
Prior to joining the Ceres policy team, Rishi was the Director of Environmental Justice for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, and also worked as an attorney covering a wide variety of climate issues at Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and EPA Region I.
Rishi holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a M.A. from Boston University, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College. A board member of the National Book Critics Circle, she is also the award-winning author of two books of fiction: Passage West and Karma and Other Stories. She lives in Cambridge, MA.
