Rachel joined Ceres in 2020 and currently contributes to the team's work across three topic areas: eliminating commodity-driven deforestation, reducing GHG emissions from agriculture, and reversing nature and biodiversity loss. Through investor education and engagement, her work supports institutional investors' efforts to achieve their climate-related goals and reduce portfolio risks.
Rachel graduated from Middlebury College in 2020 with a BA in Environmental Studies. Her studies focused on global food systems, climate science, and sociology. She’s passionate about finding solutions that can benefit the planet and its many stakeholders alike. She believes the private sector can be an essential piece in bringing about positive environmental and social change.
