Mike supports energy, electric power, and transportation member companies in advancing their action on critical sustainability issues in alignment with the Ceres Roadmap 2030.
Prior to Ceres, Mike managed the Clean Energy Accounting Project, a program of Center for Resource Solutions that develops standardized, stakeholder-reviewed clean energy and GHG emissions accounting guidance. He also held grants management roles at Earthjustice and the California Academy of Sciences, where he secured funds for decarbonizing the power sector, stopping new fossil fuel infrastructure and extraction, protecting biodiversity, and expanding access to quality STEM education. In a past life, he managed an artist collective founded by the musician Moby.
Mike holds a Master’s in Environmental Policy and Management, a BFA in Advertising and Digital Design, and a certificate in GIS. In his spare time, he is often found tending to his nano aquarium and house plants, volunteering with LGBTQ+ seniors, or visiting one of San Francisco’s museums.
