As a member of the Ceres federal policy team, Kai promotes ambitious federal climate and clean energy policy. He helps build the business case for Ceres’ federal policy priorities, mobilize businesses to advocate for them, and advance Ceres’ legislative goals.
Prior to joining Ceres, Kai worked at Ecolab for eight years on its sustainability and government relations teams. While at Ecolab, he helped the company build the business case for water stewardship and led the company’s advocacy strategy on various federal policy priorities.
Kai holds a Master’s of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Chinese from Macalester College.
