Jennifer facilitates Ceres’ strategic and annual planning processes, working with Programs, Development, Communications, Finance, Human Resources and organizational leadership to strengthen and scale Ceres’ organizational impact to build a sustainable future for people and the planet. Â
Jennifer joined Ceres in 2014 as a member of the Development team, managing a portfolio of foundation grants. She has extensive experience working in the nonprofit sector in strategy, program development and management, and grassroots organizing. Prior to Ceres, Jennifer worked at the Sierra Club in California where she directed conservation programs in Los Angeles and Orange counties. She worked with a coalition that successfully negotiated the preservation of 240,000 acres at Tejon Ranch, north of Los Angeles. The agreement subsequently received the Governor’s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award (GEELA) from then-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jennifer also has extensive experience working in the animal welfare field.Â
Jennifer graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in Biology. She enjoys birdwatching, hiking, and exploring New England with her twin sons.
