Griffin works with Ceres’ company and investor networks to engage in climate, clean energy, and clean energy transportation policy advocacy in the Southeast, focusing on Virginia and North Carolina.
Prior to joining Ceres, Griffin received his B.A. (with honors) in 2021 from West Virginia University, where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Journalism. He also received his M.A. in Political Science from WVU in 2023, with emphases in American Politics and Public Policy.
During his graduate studies, Griffin worked as a Graduate Research Assistant with the WVU Bridge Initiative for Science and Technology Policy, Leadership, & Communications, where he did extensive legislative research and engagement relating to carbon dioxide removal (CDR) policies in West Virginia.
