Zach leads Ceres’ federal policy team in mobilizing the business voice for ambitious U.S. federal climate and clean energy policy.Â
Prior to joining Ceres, Zach worked at Prince George’s County Government, where he managed an innovative residential energy efficiency and solar energy grant program in low-income communities of color. Before that, Zach led market entry, policy, and partnership strategy with the largest power companies and equipment manufacturers in China at Sentient Science, a software start-up in the wind energy industry. Previously, Zach guided bottom-up technical assistance and capacity building and high-level information sharing and advisory projects with state and federal government partners on a clean, just energy and economic transition in the U.S. and China at the Center for Climate Strategies and Institute for Industrial Productivity.Â
Zach graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Government and earned a law degree from Temple University.Â
