Colgan is a primary relationship manager responsible for engaging asset managers and institutional asset owners in setting and achieving their net-zero goals through global strategies with The Investor Agenda, Net Zero Asset Managers (NZAM), and Paris Aligned Investment Initiative.
Her most recent role was at Trillium Asset Management on the Private Client team in San Francisco, CA. As a Portfolio Associate, she supported the west coast investment managers as an account manager for institutional and family office accounts.
Before Trillium, Colgan worked on the Investor Network Team at Ceres mobilizing investors to take action on the climate crisis. She worked on several international investor initiatives on climate change, including the Investor Summits on Climate Risk at the United Nations, the Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change, the Climate Action 100+ initiative, and the Investor Agenda initiative. Before Ceres, she was a CivicSpark AmeriCorps Fellow for the County of Sonoma Energy and Sustainability Division. During the year-long fellowship, Colgan focused on energy and green procurement strategies, effective and efficient energy use and sustainability practices, water conservation education, programs, and services for residents and business owners in Sonoma County.
Colgan obtained her BA in Environmental Science & Policy and Theatre from Smith College in 2017. She studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, focusing on sustainable economic development in Northern Europe and Israel at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies. Colgan also completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2017.
Colgan enjoys an active lifestyle, including running, road cycling, backpacking, and sailing. She is an active member of the San Francisco Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE) Chapter.
