Christie is the relationship manager for Ceres member companies in the food and beverage sectors. She supports Ceres’ strategy for accelerating sustainability leadership by helping member companies realize the competitive advantage of integrating ESG issues into core business strategies.
Previously, Christie worked to educate and engage institutional investors on the various environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks in global food and beverage supply chains. She developed enhancements to Ceres’ interactive Engage the Chain website, including authoring two reports on human rights due diligence in agricultural supply chains and supplier non-compliance protocols.
Prior to joining Ceres, Christie worked for the National Park Service conducting research for the Climate Friendly Parks program as well as the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s electronic waste division. Christie received her bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in geological sciences from Boston College.
