Caroline manages and develops research to support investor engagements with food and beverage companies on their deforestation and climate commitments. She also supports the policy team’s efforts to advance legislative and regulatory policies that promote sustainable agricultural production.
Prior to joining Ceres, Caroline served as the Government Affairs Manager of Food and Agriculture at the Breakthrough Institute. There, she coordinated the food and agriculture team’s federal policy efforts—developing policy proposals and outreach materials, engaging with policymakers and stakeholders, and conducting research related to agriculture and climate.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Art’s from Hamilton College and a Master of Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley. She speaks English and German, and she served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Erlangen, Germany before attending graduate school.
