Carol supports institutional investor members with close to $5 trillion in assets under management in making the business case for sustainable investments. Carol's work focuses on increasing investment in climate solutions and measuring the real-world impact of these investment opportunities. She is a co-author of "Investing in the Future: Unlocking Value Through Avoided Emissions", a resource that helps investors identify climate solutions and capitalize on the low-carbon transition.
Prior to joining Ceres, Carol was with the TCW Group (formerly, Trust Company of the West) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). At TCW she was a Senior Vice President, Equity Analyst focused broadly on the consumer sector. She was her group’s #1 performing analyst in terms of stock performance for four of her last six years with the company, and among her responsibilities was tracking and reporting on these companies’ ESG activities. As Senior Investigative Investment Analyst at the SEC, Carol conducted examinations of registered investment advisers and financial planners, identifying deficiencies, and making recommendations to the SEC’s Department of Investment Management and Division of Enforcement.
Carol is a CFA® charterholder and earned a BS in Finance from St. John’s University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
