Brett Hauser is an electric and advanced mobility executive who has been instrumental in shaping the industry by being an early advocate for open standards and promoting the broad-based deployment of and equitable access to charging infrastructure.
Mr. Hauser has accumulated over 25 years of experience in industries relating to transportation infrastructure including enterprise mobility, fleet management, and automotive telematics, holding various positions in strategic planning, operations, product management, and private equity investment. During this time, Mr. Hauser developed and implemented strategies to increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls, and increase shareholder value for various portfolio companies. While in private equity, Mr. Hauser negotiated acquisitions, performed due diligence, raised capital and restructured various multi-million-dollar corporations in telematics, mobile resource management, telecommunications and natural resources.
Mr. Hauser previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Greenlots, a leading provider of smart electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and services, and successfully led the company’s progression through strategic investments and market expansion resulting in the acquisition by Royal Dutch Shell plc.
Mr. Hauser currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Alliance of Transportation Electrification and is co-founder of the Open Charge Alliance. Mr. Hauser earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
