Susan Boyer

Susan provides executive leadership of the finance, information systems, and internal communication functions at Ceres. She has primary responsibility for financial oversight, including budgeting, strategy, financial controls, risk management, and accurate reporting of financial results. 

Susan is a CPA. Susan brings 25+ years of nonprofit financial management to the organization. Prior to Ceres, she served as the Controller at Pine Street Inn and at Jewish Family and Children’s Service and as the CFO at the Charles River Center. 

Susan has deep experience in system implementations and since joining Ceres has overseen the implementation of financial planning and budgeting, accounts payable, and travel and expense systems. She provided executive leadership on Ceres’ adoption of the M365 platform.

Susan received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University. Susan minored in Italian. She has studied the Italian language since elementary school and spent a gap year living in Rome, Italy.
