As a member of the Executive Team, Mike oversees legal matters and legal strategy at Ceres.
Prior to Ceres, Mike had a career spanning over thirty years at Foley Hoag LLP. He tried cases in state and federal courts and in subject matters ranging from employment litigation to intellectual property disputes. For several years, he was Co-Chair of Foley Hoag’s Litigation Department, where he shared responsibility for management and strategy for many professionals.
Mike has won many awards for his public service, including the Sarah B. Ignatius Award from the Political Asylum and Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project, where he served as a member of the Board of Directors and volunteer attorney. He also won the ARC Massachusetts Citizen of the Year Award for his work in a class action case, which established important rights for Massachusetts residents with mental disabilities. Mike attended Yale University and Harvard Law School.
