Starting at Ceres as an intern for the Ceres Policy Network, Ally now works on the Company Network team. She provides administrative and programmatic support to the team in its efforts to advance companies’ sustainable business practices.
Prior to joining Ceres, Ally worked as a research intern at Conserve Natural Forests, an environmental organization in northern Thailand focused on local forest restoration and wildlife conservation. Her other experiences include internships at White & Case LLP and the U.S. State Department, as well as ad hoc ArcGIS work for the Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District.
Ally graduated from Claremont McKenna College in May 2021 with a B.A. in International Relations and concentrations in both Environmental Affairs and East Asian Studies. During her time at as an undergraduate, she took an active role at her college’s Roberts Environmental Center, an academic research institute studying pressing environmental challenges through research and engagement. She also worked as a research analyst at her college’s Lowe Institute of Political Economy, leveraging Stata to analyze state enforcement discretion during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently in its copyediting phase, this report will soon be available in the Review of Environmental Economics and Policy journal.
In her free time, Ally enjoys dancing, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
