As part of the Ceres Policy Network, the Energy Optimization Working Group builds and supports business engagement on energy optimization policies at the state and federal levels. The group is composed of nearly two dozen leading businesses that recognize the critical need for robust policies that reduce energy waste to ensure an affordable, rapid, and equitable response to our climate crisis.
The group brings together major employers, energy users, service providers, and manufacturers to build and support business engagement on energy optimization policies and programs at the state and federal levels; many of these policies hinge in large part on decisions made by state lawmakers, utility regulators, and local decision-makers. We prioritize beneficial electrification, demand response, energy efficiency, building performance standards, and all-electric building codes.Â
