As part of the Ceres Policy Network, the Climate-Smart Agriculture and Healthy Soil Working Group is made up of food and clothing companies leading the way on climate-smart agriculture in the U.S. Together, they push for legislative and regulatory solutions to position U.S. farmers as climate leaders and secure our agricultural system and supply chains far into the future.
The Climate-Smart Agriculture and Healthy Soil Working Group brings together companies that recognize tackling emissions from the agriculture sector is vital to meeting our climate goals. You’ll join companies that are leading the way on incorporating regenerative agriculture practices into their supply chains, helping to reduce emissions while also improving water quality, soil water retention, biodiversity above and below the soil, and crop resilience to severe weather events.
The working group meets monthly to stay up to date on the federal agriculture policy landscape and participate in peer-to-peer education opportunities with other regenerative agriculture leaders. These meetings also provide members with an update on timely advocacy opportunities to engage with influential federal policymakers and collaborate on sign-on letters in support of key policy solutions.
