Climate Week NYC brought together hundreds of events and activities across New York City—in-person, hybrid, and online. Each year, influential leaders from business, government, and civil society, from all over the world, gather to accelerate the clean energy transition, speed up progress, and champion change that is already happening.
The convening came at a critical juncture for the economy and the planet. The climate crisis, water scarcity and pollution, and nature and biodiversity loss pose financial risks to investment portfolios, business operations, supply chains, and the long-term stability of economies and markets. Ceres is leading efforts through its initiatives to catalyze private sector action across high-emitting sectors—from oil and gas to food and transportation—to limit global temperature rise while supporting investors and companies as they manage climate-related risks and take advantage of business opportunities.
Urgent action is needed now more than ever to shift to a cleaner, more just, and resilient future.
