Brian leads Ceres' digital communications and marketing team, focusing on using the power of digital technology to raise Ceres' brand awareness by engaging audiences through dynamic website, social media and email content. His work includes overseeing the organization's suite of websites, social media platforms and email marketing program, as well as developing videos and graphics to tell Ceres' story visually. Brian also works across the organization to develop effective digital marketing strategies to support and promote the organization's multiple programs and initiatives, including Ceres Annual Conference and other events.
Prior to joining Ceres, Brian was the online organizer for TrueMajority.org where he worked to engage everyday people on progressive political issues including universal health care, election protection and climate change. Prior to that, he developed and managed the online communications program at Corporate Accountability International (formerly Infact).
In addition to his 20+ years of experience in traditional and digital communications and marketing, Brian has experience in a variety of areas including international media, strategic planning and fundraising.
He also serves as the Board Chair for a Boston transportation equity advocacy organization, LivableStreets and is constantly perfecting his baguette baking skills.Â
Brian earned his bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts, Boston in 2000.
