Sara directs the Corporate Electric Vehicle Alliance and fleet electrification program at Ceres, leveraging the growing corporate demand and business case for electric vehicles (EVs) to drive accelerated EV deployment and passage of supportive clean transportation policies in the U.S. Sara also works with investors to educate companies on the financial risks associated with continued investment in fossil fuels.
Prior to joining Ceres, Sara worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Volpe Center where she supported federal projects to advance commercial deployment of sustainable aviation fuel and identify on-road vehicle electrification opportunities for cities. Before her work at Volpe, Sara supported the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program and Energy Policy Act of 1992 to reduce petroleum consumption from on-road vehicles and transition fleets to alternative fuels.
Sara has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Applications from Michigan State University and is currently based in Washington, D.C.
