Leslie joined Ceres in 2021 and oversees the organization’s Climate and Energy, Water, and Food and Forest Teams. She has 30 years of experience in the climate, clean energy, and international development sectors, as well as nonprofit program management, strategic planning, energy policy, and fundraising.
Prior to joining Ceres, Leslie held management roles at the UN Foundation, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, and Alliance to Save Energy. She launched her career working on climate and sustainability for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
Leslie has a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an M.S. in International Trade and Finance from Georgetown University. Outside of her role at Ceres, she serves on the board of Burn Design Lab and is active in volunteer initiatives to support and resettle refugees. Leslie lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and has two adult children.
